Biography:

Vishal is currently the CTO for JioMart (Reliance Retail), where he has taken the challenge to setup one of the world's best marketplace, technology org, infrastructure and processes. Prior to Reliance he was an entrepreneur with two very successful exits where he built India's first all in one app @Tapzo which was acquired by Amazon is 2018 and @OneDirect, a B2B customer experience management suite acquired by @GupShup. He is a senior executive and technologist with over 21 years of experience leading, designing, architecting software products for enterprises(both B2B & B2C). He has broad experience in all aspects of engineering, product development, management and leadership in all stages of product and company development. As a technologist he has also developed patented technology which can deliver classroom like lectures through internet on very low bandwidth.

Biography:

Vivek leads Seller Experience for Amazon across the emerging markets and also heads Amazon’s Global Trade business in India. He’s been with Amazon for over 17 years now and has led several teams across his tenure including Customer Service and Supply Chain Operations. Vivek also led the launch of the India Seller Lending program which leverages a network of banks and NBFCs to help Amazon sellers with their working capital needs. Currently, Vivek’s team is responsible for driving the growth of the seller business across Emerging Markets (Australia to Latin America) including fulfilment solutions such as FBA, Easy Ship and Seller Flex. As part of Global Trade, his team helps Indian MSMEs to sell to customers globally and create strong global brands. Vivek completed his Masters of Computer Science from University of Texas, he also holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
