Mr. Kush is a Mechanical engineer from Birla Institute of Technology and has 35+ years of experience in Power Sector. He started his journey with NTPC where he worked from 1986 to 2007 in different capacities and all facets of the Power sector value chain.

He has varied expertise in the Power sector mainly, construction, project engineering, erection & commissioning, O&M, R&M and business development. He was responsible for various critical projects of NTPC like its foray into Nuclear Power, to name a few.

Subsequently, he moved to Adani Power Ltd. as Head of Tiroda Project – 5×660 MW (Super Critical).

Later on in 2009 he joined the Essar Power and was made responsible for all international sourcing related to the Power Projects. Currently, he is heading the Power Business as CEO for Essar Power.
