Priya Singh is a trailblazing entrepreneur, policy architect, and social innovator who has spent over two decades at the intersection of technology, public policy, and human development. As Co-founder and Director of Chalo Mobility, India’s leading public bus transport technology company, she has been instrumental in reshaping how hundreds of millions of people across emerging economies experience daily commuting.

In her role as Chief Business Officer, Priya leads Chalo’s Public Market business in India, a vertical that contributes nearly 80% of the company’s revenue. Under her leadership, Chalo has scaled operations to over 30,000 buses across 100+ cities in India and abroad including Peru and the Philippines, making it one of the most significant public transport technology deployments in the developing world.

Armed with a Master’s in Social Work and 22+ years of experience spanning international NGOs, government institutions, and the startup ecosystem, Priya has served in impactful roles at the World Food Programme, CARE India, Population Services International, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Madhya Pradesh. Before Chalo, she was Senior Vice President of Talent & Training at CarWale, and founded Rangrezaaglobal, a social enterprise dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of the clothing industry.
