Mudit Agarwal

Mudit Agarwal is the Chief Executive Officer of Indian Highways Management Company Ltd. (IHMCL), where he is driving technology-led transformation of India’s highway user services, FASTag ecosystem, ATMS, 1033 emergency response and road-safety platforms. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience across public infrastructure, telecom, digital networks, consulting and large-scale operations. 
 
An Indian Telecom Service officer selected through the UPSC Engineering Services Examination, he began his career in public-sector telecom infrastructure and citizen-service delivery. He later held senior leadership roles at Vodafone Idea as Executive Vice President and National Head of Technology Planning, where he led national-scale network integration, technology architecture and large capex programs. He has also served at McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group, advising infrastructure, telecom and public-sector clients on transformation and execution. 
 
An IIM Calcutta alumnus, Aditya Birla Scholar and Roll of Honour awardee, he is passionate about using technology, data and institutional execution to make Indian highways safer, smarter and more citizen-centric.
