\u2022 The Govt. of Brazil has conferred the “Order of Rio Branco”, an honorific order of Brazil to Mr Prashant K Banerjee, for his excellent contributions in the field of Bioenergy. The Ambassador of Brazil honoured him with the medal of the Order of Rio Branco on 19th Jan 2023.
\u2022 The Order of Rio Branco is an honorific award of Brazil instituted by decree 51.697 of February 5, 1963. The President of Brazil serves as the Grand Master of the Order while the Minister of Foreign Affairs is the order’s Chancellor.<\/p>\n

    He is an alumnus of prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai  having more than 30 years of automobile industry experience. He has  extensively worked in different capacities of engineering development,  localisation, advance technologies, certification testing, regulations and  standard formulation roles in multi-national companies namely Toyota,  Daewoo and Tata Motors.
