Amit possesses in-depth knowledge of the e-commerce space coupled with expertise across multiple domains such as product development, supply chain and fintech.\u202f\u202fAt SOLV, Amit drives the company’s performance growth, strategic direction, governance, risk, and talent management, leading SOLV on its path to empower the 63 million+ MSMEs in India and help them realise their growth potential.<\/p>\n
Prior to SOLV, Amit was the Founder & CEO of EZMall.com, a pioneer in the video commerce space. He was instrumental in building EZMall\u2019s\u202fe-commerce infrastructure from the ground up as well as forging partnerships with several key supply chain partners. Earlier, Amit occupied key leadership roles in Flipkart, where he launched the e-commerce giant\u2019s\u202flarge consumer durables business, led category and customer experience design and set up the\u202funit\u2019s\u202fsupply chain and service infrastructure. In addition, he designed and introduced several industry-first digital innovations, and achieved a 50X GMV growth on Flipkart\u2019s Big Billion sale day. In an earlier stint at Reliance Retail, Amit was part of the core leadership team that created history\u202fby opening 1000+ new stores in a very short period.<\/p>\n
Amit Also held senior leadership position in one of the biggest North American Retail chain Sears Canada. <\/p>\n
