Prior to joining IIM Bangalore in 2009, he taught at the University of Florida and Cornell University in the United States.\u00a0 Outside of IIMB, he was an independent director on the board of Future Supply Chain Solutions Ltd from 2017-23.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">His research interests include Supply Chain Management, Pricing, and Inventory Management. His research has been published in top-tier journals such as <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Operations Research <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Manufacturing and Service Operations Management<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. One of the chapters from his PhD dissertation received the prestigious Best PhD Student Paper Award in Operations Management in 2003, given annually by the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society. He serves on the editorial review board of the journal, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Production and Operations Management<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. He has also co-authored a book titled, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Principles of Inventory Management: When You Are Down to Four, Order More<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (published by Springer in 2010).
