On Trump and the US elections:

• The US is still in the process of figuring out what the new Govt means
• There is something fundamentally new and evolving about American body politic with NAFTA, WTO and trade in general
• I expect there will be various debates around the taxation policy and the possibilities on trade

On National Security:

• My concern with globalization is more to do with national security. There are a rising number of threats to globalization
• China is building military bases and developing new technologies
• North Korea is one of the most dangerous territories; with an unpredictable head of government
• One of my biggest concerns is that there will be another attack and deadlier. We have to pay attention to development of nuclear capabilities and that they don’t fall into the wrong hands;
• Our military is significantly diminished after the Obama administration and budget cuts

On Vladimir Putin, President, Russia:

• He took his capabilities in cyber warfare to influence our elections
• There is no question that there was very serious effort made by Putin and his administration to interfere with our democratic process.
• Vladmir is trying to undermine NATO and also believes that the end of cold war (and Soviet union) was disastrous and wants to correct it
