The Economic Times presents the 4th edition of Architecture & Design Summit in Mumbai

The A&D Summit has come to a curtain closure of its 4th edition with Mumbai being it’s last stop. All the finalists and the panel converge at the commercial capital for the last mega event. The event showcased the world of design, its trends and impacts not just in India but across the globe.

The Summit saw variety of new topics discussed focusing not only on architecture but also on designs for the first time this year. The focal radius evolved from the ‘5 senses’ of last year to ‘Textures & Designs’ and its forms and variations for this year’s edition.

Industry celebrated, Mr. Abhishek Somany, MD, Somany Ceramics elaborated on the A&D Summit quoting “We are growing into the international best practices in the design space and the impact of texture, which are the key drivers of the next phase of growth for the A&D industry”.

Glimpsing into the events which focused on ‘Disruptive Change – New design thinking for the new times and generation’ as its main topic of discussion in Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Kochi, and Bangalore participated in the event with various base themes over which the discussions were held.

In the world of designs, a perspective diversifies for the concept of ‘Texture on Built Environment’ and every city where the summit was held saw a panel discussion with the stalwarts of the industry sharing their point of views on the growth of design spaces as per the global standards.

The culmination event will be the grand finale in Mumbai which will showcase top designers from across the globe. Tis event will be a star studded evening filled with dignitaries, hosting the Crème de la crème of the design fraternity.
