Hiroshi Nishijima is the current Chief Executive Officer of Zoomcar. Mr. Nishijima has more than half a decade ofexperience in the app-based marketplace business, particularlyin the mobility sector.

Before joining Zoomcar, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Via Mobility Japan, K.K., from April 2020 to April 2022, where he led a private on-demand ride-sharing service providing cost-effective mobility solutions for public transportation. FromJanuary 2016 to April 2020, Mr. Nishijima held various leadership positions at Grab Holdings Ltd (Nasdaq: GRAB), an app-based platform offering transportation, grocery, food, and Fintech services.

His roles at Grab included being the Head of Transport Business for Grab Indonesia and the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his tenure at Grab, Mr. Nishijima was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, Inc., working in its Japan office from December 2010 to December 2012, and later in its New Delhi and Singapore offices as a principal. From April2006 to November 2010, he served as a Project Manager at Roland Berger’s offices in Tokyo, Japan, and Dusseldorf, Germany. During his time at Boston Consulting Group and Roland Berger, he was a core member of teams that supported clients in the global automotive sector.

Earlier in his career, from April 1999 to March 2005, he was a Project Leader at Honda Motor Ltd. Mr. Nishijima holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Keio University, which he received in 1999. He has also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Zoomcar since May 2022.
