Deepak works as Board Member & CXO Advisor with several large & growth stage global & Indian firms with special focus on Incubation & Growth of new business in Financial Services, AI & GenAI, Cyber Security, SaaS, Fraud, Risk & Identity Management, Digital Transformation & Platforms. He currently serves as Board member (Independent Director) at Experian Credit & Suryoday Small Finance Bank (and chairs IT & Security Committee). He serves on Global Advisory Board of Instabase Inc., a Silicon Valley based AI & GenAI firm, where he helps them build South/East Asia business. He is also a Strategic Advisor to Zeta, where he helps them build and scale cloud native financial service software.

Deepak has worked with one of the India’s leading Bank, Kotak Mahindra where he was instrumental in starting & scaling Digital Initiatives at Kotak for over a decade and served as Bank’s first & longest serving President & Chief Digital Officer. This included launching India’s first and largest Digital bank – 811. He has also built several businesses with Standard Chartered Bank, Hutchison telecom etc.
Deepak Sharma is Globally connected in the tech and innovation realm; he’s highly regarded as a preeminent figure in fintech and digital leadership. He has been closely associated with various Indian & Global policy making thinktank, PE & VC firms, iSPIRT. Additionally, he engaged in numerous trade and Government initiatives concerning the Digital India Roadmap and provided ongoing mentorship to fintech and startup ecosystems.
