Mayank Bathwal is the Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd.
With over 30 years of experience in the Aditya Birla Group, Mayank has held leadership
roles across various sectors, including insurance, financial services, manufacturing, energy,
and power.
He was the founding team member of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance and in his last role,
he was the Deputy CEO of ABSLI and had held multiple roles in the business in India and
Indonesia.
In 2015, Mayank took on the challenge of setting up Aditya Birla Health Insurance (ABHI).
Under his leadership, ABHI has rapidly emerged as one of India’s most recognized and
fastest-growing health insurance companies. He has championed a well-diversified
strategy, entering the market with a unique ‘health-first’ business model and developing an
efficient multi-channel distribution system by leveraging digital opportunities.
Mayank is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a member of the ICWA and ICSI. He also
serves as the co-chair of the FICCI Health Insurance Committee and plays an active role
in the insurance industry forum of NATHEALTH.
