Prashant Thakkar is a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience across Financial Services, Investment Management and Manufacturing business of which around 23+ years has been in Financial Services and Investment Management / Asset Management.

He has played a key role in evolving stages of the industry which entails startup, merger & acquisition and building a robust & scalable operating model and capabilities for supporting organic and inorganic business growth. He has worked with domestic and global organizations and has played a pivotal role in establishing / enhancing overall technology landscape, systems & processes and risk management best practices. 

Apart from being in-charge of Business Operations and Information Technology in the current role, during his work tenure, Prashant has held several Strategic and Leadership roles wherein he has been involved in numerous Regional (India & Asia) and Global Organization Group / Business level activities viz., Establish Central (Domestic / Regional / Global) Systems & Platforms and Shared Services model across the Business / Group companies, Business M&A, establish/reengineer Business Processes, Business process Outsourcing & Transition, Risk Management practices, Business Continuity and Crisis Management. 

Prior to joining LICMF he has worked with organizations viz., Mirae Asset Global Investments, Birla Sunlife Asset Management, Cyanamid Agro etc.
