Aparna Rao

Aparna Rao leads the Cargill Business services in India across Bangalore and Gurgaon with 3500+ people who provide services in various streams like Finance, Procurement , IT, HR ,Transportation & Logistics, Trade Execution, Data Analytics, Ocean Transportation, Project Management, Continuous Improvements & Automations, Executive admin, Creative studio and Facilities management .   

Prior to joining Cargill, Aparna held strategic leadership roles at Bayer GBS India, Hewlett Packard, Tesco and Monsanto. In her previous stint, she was the Head of Bayer GBS India. Aparna comes with extensive experience in managing large teams, setting up shared services operations in India and driving process excellence in global business services. 

She holds a degree in Commerce from Bangalore University, and a professional certification from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). She lives with her husband Subbu, daughter Shraavyaa and pet Scooby in Bengaluru. Outside work, she loves to read, paint, listen to music, cook in her free time and engage in different spiritual practices and meditation techniques.
