Dr. Jeewan S Titiyal, serves as Professor & Chief at Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences and Dean (Research), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.  

He is amongst the top 2% of the most-cited researchers in Ophthalmology, with over 400 Publications in peer reviewed indexed journals, 6 books, >100 book chapters, >30 Orations & Keynote addresses. He has delivered over 1000 talks, conducted >100 instruction courses and performed over 100 live surgical demonstrations at international and national platforms.  

He has been awarded one of the highest civilian honors by the Government of India- Padma Shri, for his outstanding contributions in the field of ophthalmology.  

He has been honored at international forums and received Distinguished Service Award by Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, Senior Achievement Award by American Academy of Ophthalmology and Asia-Pacific Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) Certified Educator Award.  

Prof. Titiyal has also been conferred the International P Siva Reddy award as well as the prestigious RP Dhanda award for contributions in eye-banking and keratoplasty by the  All India Ophthalmological Society.  

He is the Vice President of All India Ophthalmological Society. He represents R P Centre, AIIMS as founder member of Vision 2020 India, and as WHO collaborating Centre for Prevention of Blindness. Prof Titiyal is closely associated with NPCB, MOH&FW, Govt. of India.
