Padma Shri Prof Dr M Wali is the best Alumnus of Kanpur University and is agraduate from GSVM Medical College. He joined CHS on 17.06.1980 and since then he is continuously working with the government of India without taking any kind of leave which is peculiar to him. He has recently been honored with Doctor of Science from Germany.

Dr Wali was awarded fellowship of the American college of cardiology and fellowship from the University of Michigan during the year 2005 and 2007 respectively, on his distinguished services of Cardiology specially for the poor and downtrodden, who hardly can afford bypass surgery and stenting. He has won most gold medals and awards during his MBBS course and had distinctions in all subjects in MBBS. He had been awarded chancellor’s medal for Best MBBS student and in M.D (Medicine) for the Best Thesis.

He has served President R Venkatraman since 1990 and later on Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma and currently he is personal Physician to the President of India.

As a member of Indian Red Cross he has served mankind and has been awarded Presidents Gold Medal for Indian Red Cross. He is an awarded Medical Ikon and twice adjudged best Medical Specialist by Union Health Minister. He has also been awarded lifetime achievement award 2017.

Presently, DrWali continues his busy schedule for patient care of highest standard at President’s Estate Clinic and all beneficiaries and dependents in Rashtrapati Bhavan who have high praise for him.

In continuation of his academic pursuits he has recently completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Hospital Administration. Very recently he has been honoured as a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians – GlassGow, U. K. The crowning glory of all awards is to be chosen to serve as full time Personal Physician to the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
