Dr Randeep Guleria is the Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences and is the First DM in Pulmonary Medicine in the country.

Recipient of several awards & honours including the prestigious Padma Shri in 2015, Dr. B.C. Roy award for Eminent medical person in 2014, 22nd Lal Bahadur Shastri National award for excellence in 2021, Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Honoris Causa by IIT, Kharagpur in 2021 & Amity University in 2019, Himachal Gaurav Puraskar in 2011, LIC –Zee TV Swastha Bharat Samman in 2010 and recently Times Healthcare achievers award in the ‘Legends’ category, ‘Doctor of the Decade’ award by the Indian Medical Association and “National Excellence Award” by the TP Jhunjhunwala Foundation for 2017-2018, he has delivered 12 prestigious National and International orations and has to his name 470 publications; 50 chapters; 54 research grants & more than 570 invited lectures.

Dr Guleria is a Member of the National Task Force & Empowered group for the Govt. of India for COVID-19 and was the personal physician to the Prime Minister of India from 1998 to 2004.

He is also the personal physician of many National and International dignitaries
