Ankur is senior vice president, technology and managing director of Lowe’s India. In his role, Ankur Mittal is responsible for driving the overall strategy and operations for Lowe’s India, including oversight of the technology, analytics and shared services teams in Bangalore. Ankur leads the enterprise architecture team, which leads the technical architecture, technical standards and governance, and drives technology strategy from an architecture perspective across a portfolio of applications and technology-enabled capabilities. 

Additionally, Ankur leads the omnichannel platforms team that builds technology products to support Lowe’s omnichannel strategy and define customer experiences. He also leads the information technology operations and infrastructure teams that creates products to support enterprise-wide, modern, frictionless infrastructure. Ankur joined Lowe’s in 2019.  

Ankur has more than 20 years of technology experience. Prior to joining Lowe’s, he served as vice president, technology for Target Corp., serving as site leader for the technology team in India and leading engineering teams on key customer services, including dot-com fulfillment, inventory management, guest returns and checkout experiences. Ankur has also served in a variety of technology leadership roles for Infosys and Wipro.  

Ankur earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University Engineering College in Kota, India, and a master’s degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode, India.
