Pranav is a Project Leader in BCG’s Public Sector & Social Impact practice. Based out of Bengaluru, his work integrates policy, design, and execution, shaping new paradigms for how cooperatives, DFIs, and agri institutions leverage digital public infrastructure, frontier technologies, and AI to drive inclusive growth

Relevant experience

• Led strategy and implementation for India’s largest agri-focused DFI, anchoring national programs on PACS computerization, digital cooperative enablement, and financial inclusion.
• Pioneered the creation of an alternative credit scoring framework for shrimp farmers in Andhra Pradesh, integrating remote sensing, transaction data, and behavioural analytics to expand formal credit access.
• Designed and launched India’s first CBDC-based purpose-bound lending model for tenant farmers, blending digital currency innovation with precision credit targeting and traceable fund utilization.
• Supported setup of a GenAI Centre of Excellence for a leading development finance institution, defining its vision, governance, and partnership framework to embed AI across internal operations, portfolio management, and program delivery.
• Steered the design of a shared services entity for digital transformation across rural cooperative banks, enabling scale efficiencies, data integration, and adoption of AI-enabled tools for performance monitoring and grant management.
• Contributed to national-level digital rural transformation strategy, shaping scalable interventions for farmer collectives, digital agribusiness ecosystems, and fintech-agri-tech partnerships that strengthen rural credit, value chains, and sustainability outcomes.

Experience prior to BCG

• Before joining BCG, Pranav led business expansion and digital innovation at one of India’s leading agri-tech startups, where he scaled operations across metro and Tier 2 cities, improving profitability and launching credit-linked agri-finance products for smallholder farmers.
• He also brings experience in strategy and P&L management across industrial and real estate sectors.
