Dr. Gyanendra Shukla is a distinguished leader in the agricultural industry, currently serving as the Managing Director & CEO of Rallis India Limited (a Tata Enterprise) since April 1, 2024.

With over 35 years of expertise in the Crop Protection and Seed sectors, Dr. Shukla has led strategic growth initiatives across India, the Asia-Pacific, and Africa. He has held senior leadership positions in Commercial, Sales, Corporate Affairs, Technology Development, and Regulatory Affairs at leading global organizations, including Monsanto, Bayer, and Syngenta.

Academically, Dr. Shukla holds a Ph.D. in Botany with a specialization in quantitative genetics from Kanpur University. He also earned an MBA in General Management from the S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Agriculture and Agronomy from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Dr. Shukla is actively engaged in shaping industry policies. He serves as the Chairman of CropLife India and also chairs the CII National Committee on Chemicals. In addition, he is an active member of FICCI and FSII, where he contributes to driving innovation, strengthening regulatory frameworks, and advancing sustainable growth in the agricultural sector.
