Hauke Waszkewitz is a GIZ development advisor based in New Delhi with experience in climate finance, trade and economic reform policies. He has been with GIZ for 6 years, the last two of which he has spent in India. Prior to his assignment in India, Hauke has worked in Iraq and Nigeria.  

In his current role as head of component of climate finance in the CAFRI II project, Hauke looks at the mobilization of public and private funds for climate adaptation. 

He has a background in economics.
