Himanshu is a strategy and management specialist with experience supporting governments, multilateral/bilateral agencies, and philanthropic clients in policy, project development and implementation. He has over 20 years’ experience in international aid and policy, health sector reforms, health and climate technologies, financial and investment advisory, and institutional strengthening.  He has worked on projects in diverse geographic settings including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana and United Kingdom, and supported by international agencies including The World Bank, DFID, USAID, UNICEF, ADB, WHO and The Global Fund. His technical experience ranges from working at the grassroot levels to supporting national and provincial government in developing policies and large scale programmes.   

He works extensively with health-tech and climate-tech start-ups and incubators across India including institutions like IIT-Delhi, C-CAMP Bangalore, Atal Innovation Mission, amongst others. He has also been instrumental in designing and deploying innovative financing instruments such as impact bonds, conditional cash transfers and blended healthcare financing models.  

Himanshu also serves as a Board Member for Triple Line Consulting, UK and Ajooni Impact Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd. He is also a Trustee for the Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE). He is a Shell Centenary Chevening Scholar and Otto Königsberger Scholar. Over the years he has been awarded with several awards including the US State Department P3 Impact Award in 2023 and BRICS Solution Award in 2025.
