She has worked extensively across India, designing strategies that strengthen climate adaptation and mitigation within urban development, healthcare, and public sector governance. 

She has led impact assessments and policy evaluations for the Government of India’s flagship missions, ensuring sustainability principles are embedded in national and state-level programs. Pooja has played a pivotal role in developing climate-responsive urban health frameworks, pioneering alternate financing models for WASH, and shaping policies that promote nature-based solutions and circular economy approaches in waste management.
