Rathin Kukreja is Director at CRISIL Market Intelligence and Analytics. In this role, he heads the sustainability function at CRISIL on a pan India basis.

Rathin has overall 15 years of experience in Energy, Sustainability and Climate Change and has supported several Corporates, Financial Institutions, Government and multilateral clients.

Rathin has extensive experience of working on various facets of sustainability such as developing ESG roadmaps, science-based decarbonization strategies, ESG reporting, ESG integration in supply chain, GHG emissions, climate risk assessment, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of products, energy management, etc.

Rathin has also supported several financial institutions on multiple aspects such as ESG integration in lending and investments decisions, green financing frameworks for issuance of sustainable instruments (bonds/loans), ESG due diligence, financed emissions and portfolio impact assessment.

Rathin holds a postgraduate degree in power management and is a certified GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) professional as well as a BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) certified energy auditor.
