Worked at Maharashtra Pollution control board for 33 years at various capacities and retired as Assistant secretary (Technical) and now working as a Technical Advisor in Maharashtra Pollution control Board.   

His journey includes working with one of the esteemed and most versatile organizations within the Government of Maharashtra, and throughout his career, he has served in various regions—Thane, Nagpur, Ratnagiri, Tarapur—and in multiple departments, including waste management divisions and the technical cell which comprises chemical and IT division. 

He has collaborated with diverse industries, helping them navigate complex pollution and regulatory challenges. He has also been an integral part of the team constituted for drafting the notification of banning single use plastic under plastic waste management rule for government of Maharashtra.
