V S Ashok holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from St Joseph’s College, Bengaluru. Further, Ashok has completed a General Management Program from IIM, Ahmedabad. He has rich corporate experience of 34 years, out of which 32 yrs has been with Blue Star Limited.

Ashok has handled a plethora of assignments in Customer Service, Projects and Sales across Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai. He was elevated as the Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2019, as part of job rotation in the Company. Currently, he oversees the portfolios of Human Resources, Administration, Manufacturing HR & Industrial Relations as well as Environment, Health & Safety.

He was an Executive Committee Member in the Indian Green Building Congress, representing Blue Star. Also, he was a Member of a Subcommittee of CII Western Region for Skill Development.

Ashok is a connoisseur of fine cuisines, enjoys travelling and meeting people from varied walks of life.
