Anjani, a Chartered Accountant by profession, commenced his career journey at ITC Limited, where he dedicated over nine years to various pivotal roles encompassing controllership, business finance, and strategizing growth initiatives for the company’s flagship brands. His tenure at ITC also involved managing investor communication and spearheading automation projects within the corporate finance function. 

Transitioning to Zomato Limited, Anjani assumed the role of Head of Business Finance for two business domains, where he played a crucial role in accelerating the path to profitability while establishing robust internal controls and operational processes. Currently serving as Vice President at ONDC, Anjani shadows the MD & CEO of ONDC to devise winning strategies for scaling up the open network approach to digital commerce. Additionally, he fosters partnerships with domain leaders to expand the network swiftly yet sustainably.
