Mr. Pradeep Jyoti Banerjee, aged about 65 years, is Bachelor of Technology (Chemical) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He started his career as Management Trainee at Hindustan Unilever Limited (“HUL”) in the year 1980. In almost four decades of association with Unilever, he has  worked in India, London, Nepal, and Singapore. In April 2010, he moved from Singapore and joined as an Executive Director on the Board of  Unilever in India (HUL) and as the Head of Supply Chain for Unilever in South Asia (India, Pakistan Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal). After being on the Board for almost a decade, he superannuated on 31st Dec 2019.  Prior to coming onto the Board of HUL,  he has  worked extensively in Global Procurement in Singapore, Global Supply Chain in London, been the Managing Director of our JV in Nepal, led  the Oral Care Business in India, led innovations in the Personal Care business, led large manufacturing operations etc.  Currently, he is an Operating Partner in Advent PE, a Senior Advisor with BCG and serves on the Boards of a few listed and unlisted  Companies.
