Lieutenant General Amardeep Singh Aujla, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Yudh Seva Medal, Sena Medal, Vishist Seva Medal was commissioned on 19 Dec 1987. The General has done various career courses including the Defence Services Staff College, Higher Command Course and attended the National Defence College. He holds double M Phil in Defence and Strategic Studies.
The General officer has a vast operational experience and expertise by the virtue of his numerous Operational Staff and Command Appointments to include the dynamic command of 15 Corps in Kashmir Valley.
In his distinguished service, the General has been awarded multiple commendations and has also been conferred with the award of Vishist Seva Medal, Sena Medal, Yudh Seval Medal besides the prestigious Uttam Yudh Seva Medal.
Lieutenant General Amardeep Singh Aujla took over as the Master General Sustenance of the Indian Army in June last year and has been incessantly working towards overall process efficiency and self-sustenance through much needed impetus on the National Indigenization Objectives.
