Our transition from a local haulier to a leading global freight forwarder
Initially, DSV offered only haulier services and focused on activities within the construction industry. From mid-1980s onwards, the business was quickly expanded to include other transport and logistics activities domestically and internationally. From the year 2000 onwards, with the acquisitions of the DFDS Dan Transport Group, Frans Maas, ABX and UTi Worldwide, DSV emerged as one of the leading global freight forwarders.
In 2019, DSV joined forces with Panalpina, another global provider of transport and logistics services. In 2021, DSV acquired Agility’s Global Integrated Logistics business (GIL) and became one of the largest transport and logistics company globally.
Since the beginning, story of DSV has been a story of entrepreneurs with excellent business acumen and courage to embark on a journey of continued growth. Today, DSV’s values remain deeply embedded throughout the organization.

Recently, ProcMart has expanded its service offerings to include industries such as Biofuel, Sustainable Packaging, and now Construction Equipment and Chemicals. The company has raised a total of $43 million in funding. This includes a recent Series B funding round in April 2024, where ProcMart secured $30 million led by the Fundamentum Partnership and the Edelweiss Discovery Fund. The round also saw participation from South Korea-based Paramark Ventures, as well as contributions from existing investors like Sixth Sense Ventures and IndiaMART.
