Deepak Sharma is the Head of Integrated Supply Chain Management ( Manufacturing, Supply Chain
& Logistics ) at Bajaj Electricals Limited. He is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, streamlining the existing frameworks & processes, building cost & operational efficiencies in the business. Under his leadership, the company has integrated the supply chain, new product development, logistics and manufacturing functions, paving the way for making this a #DecadeOfBajajElectricals. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry with a career spanning across multi-national companies such as Aditya Birla, General Electric, Schneider Electric, Indus Towers and Vedanta Group. In his previous roles too, Deepak has steered multiple transformational projects by working with large and diverse teams based in various multi-country supply chains. He has also piloted to success various digitalization and sustainability initiatives. 

Deepak is known for his ability to visualize, conceptualize and implement competitive strategic outcomes to enable growth, improve profitability, and increase value to customers. As a leader, Deepak believes in the mantra of Unconstrained thinking and has continually encouraged his teams to follow this to create value for the organisation while affirming focus on the customer and environment. He lays a strong focus on 5Ps and 1C i.e. People, Partner (Supplier), Process, Profitability, Planet and Customer. Deepak has won multiple laurels – “Most Influential Digitalist Thought Leader for Supply Chain & Business Network”, “Transformation Leader in Sustainability & Supply Chain Visionary of the Year”, “Outstanding Supply Chain Leader for Consumer durables”, amongst many others. 

He holds a degree in engineering and has enhanced his skill set through global management programs in Leadership and Management Excellence from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School and Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore). In his free time, he loves following various sports, exploring culture through travelling and focuses on spending quality time with his family. He also believes in giving back to the community and is actively involved with NGOs for participating and driving welfare initiatives for those who are not as privileged.
