Sanjay is an ambitious and optimistic Supply Chain professional with over 33 years of experience in operations, and supply chain leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President – Supply Chain at Valvoline Cummins Private Limited and leads end-to-end supply chain operations, driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability across the organization. He is part of core leadership team.

Prior to joining VCPL, Sanjay held senior leadership roles at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (P) Ltd and mid-level roles at Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where he spearheaded supply chain transformations and operational excellence initiatives. At Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Sanjay was instrumental in optimizing manufacturing process and setting-up Quality Management at their Kolkata tea packaging factory. He was part of change management team at their Bangalore factory and facilitated automation.

During his tenure at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (P) Ltd, Sanjay led strategic supply chain planning and innovation efforts, contributing to significant improvements in cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. Executed and commissioned green field projects and distribution centre.

In current company, Sanjay optimized supply network and inventories. Automated demand and supply planning process. Engaged and developed strategic suppliers to secure supplies under uncertainties. Designed and deployed supply chain strategies in line with business objectives.

With a strong foundation in engineering and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex supply chain challenges, Sanjay is committed to building agile, resilient, and future-ready supply chains that deliver value to customers and stakeholders alike.

Sanjay managed large teams, multiple manufacturing sites and distribution centres. Proven leadership skills, involving, managing, developing and motivating high performing cross functional teams to achieve business objectives.

He did his ME in Production & Technology from VJTI Mumbai, later did executive program in business management from IIM Kolkata. Also did, certification course in supply chain management from IIT Delhi.

Beyond corporate endeavours, Sanjay is passionate about personal interests, including travelling and reading. His family includes his wife, and two daughters.
