Swati Dalal

Swati is the Managing Director for Abbott India Limited -a part of the pharmaceuticals business in India since April 2024. 

In her earlier role, she was the General Manager of Abbott Primary Care and prior that Abbott’s Nutrition business in India.  

Swati started her career as a management trainee with Wockhardt Ltd. 

She began her journey with Abbott as a product manager with erstwhile Boots. With subsequent mergers of Knoll, Solvay and Abbott, she progressed in her career in various leadership roles, including Commercial Director in the Primary Care division, leading the New Product Introduction (NPI) function and spearheading the Specialty Care businesses for chronic therapies at Abbott India Ltd.  

Swati is an active participant at industry forums focused on healthcare, nutrition and marketing.  She leads and contributes to various employee development initiatives such as the Women Leaders of Abbott, and is an advocate of Abbott’s  Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda in India. 

Swati holds a pharmacy degree and is a post-graduate in Management Studies from  Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
