Arijit is a seasoned HR leader with over 22 years of industry experience. In the last 16 years with Nomura, Arijit has spearheaded national and international teams across multiple HR functions, before taking up the Head of HR role at Nomura, Powai. Additionally, he also heads the corporate communication function at Nomura, Powai. Prior to this role, he has managed roles like  Head of Compensation, Powai, Head of Global Compensation for Wholesale Corporate and Joint Head of Global Compensation apart from managing various HR functions.

Arijit is passionate about driving inclusivity and sustainability agenda at workplace. He strongly believes that developing future talent towards these goals will create a sustainable impact for the organizations and the community at large.  

Prior to Nomura, he has worked with Banking and Manufacturing sectors in Compensation and HR Advisory roles. Arijit holds a M.Tech, degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
