Shivangi holds a B.L.S.LL.B. Degree from Government Law College, Mumbai. She is an advocate, specializing in laws related to sexual harassment, gender and child rights with 10 years of experience. She is the Co-Founder of Equilibrio Advisory LLP (https://equilibrioadvisory.com/), a legal-psychology firm with POSH at Work, Child Safety at Work, Inclusion at Work and Mental Health at Work as its verticals. POSH at Work is empanelled by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India since February, 2017.  

She assists with various kinds of policy drafting including policies for inclusion of trans folks at workplaces. She is currently assisting 300+ organizations in complying with the POSH law and acting as an external member of ICs of 20+ organizations. She has handled 200+ complaints, conducted 250+ training / awareness sessions involving 1,00,000+ individuals.  

She has spoken at 50+ events including Women Economic Forum (Kerala & Bengaluru), CII (IWN) and IE University, Spain. She was also a part of a discussion with United Nations Women and National Commission for Women on Sexual Harassment at Workplace. She is the President of Maharashtra Anti-Sexual Harassment Council, WICCI and India Country Chair of G100, Child Care & Protection Wing.  

She has co-authored a book titled ‘Handbook on the Law of Sexual Harassment,’ both editions published by Thomson Reuters and written 100+ articles / notes / opinions some of which have been reported by Business Standard, Huffington Post etc. She has also been quoted by leading newspapers like Economic Times, Livemint and Business Standard.
