Rohit is responsible to manage HSBC’s next-generation cybersecurity operations centre in India that provides 24x7x365 detection and response capability to all cyber and information security matters across the Group. This involves upskilling and expanding current staff and best leveraging global protective technology to ensure that the first line of defense can effectively identify and react to realized / imminent threats to the Group.

He brings 24 years’ experience in information security leadership in financial organisations, having worked with GE Money, Citibank, Wachovia, Wells Fargo, MSCI, and Deutsche Bank in information security functions. He has built cybersecurity operations, shaped hiring, nurturing skills, processes and technology. He has deep technical understanding on information security technologies.
