A military veteran, Tushar Asirvadam has driven strategic outcomes in over two decades of distinguished service. As a paratrooper, a helicopter pilot and a United Nations diplomat, he has operated across diverse environments and geographies, mastering the ability to adapt to high-pressure situations. His exemplary service has earned him the President’s Medal at the National Defense Academy and is an alumnus of the prestigious Defense Services Staff College.

At JLR TBSI, Tushar leads as the Head of Corporate Services, where he drives the Real Estate Strategy for Jaguar Land Rover’s Capability Hub, optimizing space utilization and forecasting future space requirements to support diverse enterprise functions. In addition to this, Tushar also leads strategy for critical areas such as Health and Safety, Employee Wellbeing and CSR, aligning these initiatives with JLR’s values of innovation, sustainability and community engagement.

What drives Tushar as a leader is his deep belief that resilience and adaptability are the cornerstones of success – lessons he learnt through his military service. He brings this same philosophy to JLR, fostering a culture of proactive leadership, ethical responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Outside his professional responsibilities, Tushar serves as a trustee on the General K.S Thimayya Memorial Trust. He advises numerous schools and NGOs to create awareness on public service, mental health, and ethical leadership amongst the youth.
