Founder and ‘Soundsmith’ of BrandMusiq- India’s first company dedicated to designing and
managing the sonic identity of a brand’- Rajeev Raja is the ex-National Creative Director of DDB
Mudra and one of India’s finest Jazz and fusion flautists.
Rajeev Raja, a creative powerhouse who today straddles the two worlds of brands and music,
has over 25 years’ experience in advertising. He has worked on a plethora of brands and has
created many nationwide campaigns which have won him many accolades and awards.
Rajeev is also a well-known musician and is considered one of India’s leading
Jazz and Fusion flautists. Over the past two decades, Rajeev has played with a number of
fantastic musicians including Louiz Banks, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, Fazal and Taufiq Kureshi,
Ranjit Barot , Leslie Lewis, Susmit Sen and even Bernie Marsden, the amazing guitarist of the UK
band ‘White Snake’.
With these strong credentials in music and branding, Rajeev founded BrandMusiq, a company
that creates sonic identities for brands. He created the term MOGO® or musical logo, which has
become part of global lexicon.
Using a 3-stage proprietary process, BrandMusiq has gone on to create ‘MOGOs®’ for leading
brands such as Mastercard Global which has been ranked the No 1 Audio brand in the world for
3 years in a row now, HDFC Bank, Zomato, Infosys, brands of Unilever, Nestle, Mondelez and
Kraft Heinz, Toyota, Air India express, Vistara Airlines, Raymond, Vivo and many other leading
brands.
