Anshul Tewari is a social entrepreneur and the Founder of Youth Ki Awaaz (YKA), India’s largest youth-led media platform for citizen storytelling and civic participation. With over 200,000 contributors and a monthly reach of 20 million, YKA enables young people to influence public discourse and shape change. Alongside its storytelling platform, Anshul leads the organization’s civic data vertical, which draws insights from polls, stories, and surveys to inform public dialogue, policymaking, and brand engagement.

He is a 2025 Skoll World Fellow, an Ashoka Fellow, and a UN ITU Young Innovator. In 2018, he was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Media Influencer. Anshul serves on Snap Inc.’s Global Safety Advisory Board, is a founding trustee of the Misinformation Combat Alliance, and sits on the board of the Internet Freedom Foundation. He previously served on the UN Women Civil Society Advisory Board for South and Southeast Asia.
