Ms. Palekar holds double postgraduate degrees in Physical Chemistry and Solid State Physics from Mumbai University, along with a teaching degree from Bombay Teachers’ Training College. With a passion for teaching Chemistry and Physics to 10th and 12th graders, she emphasizes experiential learning and fostering the joy of discovery in her students.

She has an extensive career in education of 28 years , having served as Principal and Group Director at schools across India, the UK, the USA, and Estonia. An expert in curriculum development and educator training, Ms. Palekar has been a British Council School Ambassador, where she championed the integration of internationalism into school curricula and promoted the recognition of global perspectives in schools across India, Nepal, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and the UK.

As an Assessor with the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), Quality Council of India, she has evaluated over 180 schools across India and the UAE, ensuring compliance with KHDA standards. Currently, Ms. Palekar serves as Head of Academics at Birla Open Minds Pvt. Limited, overseeing academic excellence across more than 120 schools under her leadership.
