Prof. (Dr.) Satish Modh held various leadership positions, in reputed organisations like NMIMS University, Air India (a member of Business Transformation Group), Aeronautical Society of India, Mumbai Branch and Air India Aircraft Engineers Association.

Based on his research on ‘Indian Knowledge System’ he has written a book on business ethics titled “Ethical Management”. He has contributed various chapters in the ‘Palgrave Handbook of Servant Leadership’, the “Palgrave Handbook of Workplace Well-Being’, and ‘New Horizons in Workplace Well-Being published by Palgrave Macmillan, Cham. He was invited to speak on these subjects at various universities abroad. He has also written various hooks on disaster management.

He is the author of two popular books ‘Discover the Arjuna in You’ and ‘Arjuna’s 15 Questions. He has developed a psychometric test for personality development, career guidance and leadership styles based on Sat, Rajas and Tamas framework of the Gita.

Prof. (Dr.) Satish Modh was bestowed with the ‘Outstanding Reviewer Award’ at the Academy of Management Conference, Boston 2019 (MSR Interest Group). He was also awarded the ‘Dewang Mehta Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education’ in 2014.

His thrust areas of research include Leadership, Strategy, Disaster Management and Indian Knowledge Systems.
