Shri Bansal started his professional journey in 1991 as a Project Engineer in renowned construction company while working for Chambal Fertilizes at Kota. Later he joined Uhde India Limited, a renowned German Consulting Company pioneer in the business for developing the chemical and Fertilizer projects from concept to commissioning. He finally joined IWAI in 2002 as Assistant Director and has since then scaled various levels of organizational hierarchy and reached the position of Director in 2018.

In his 31 years of distinguished service out of which 20 years have been with IWAI, he has contributed in every aspect of Inland Water Transport which includes construction of permanent IWT terminal, fairway development, planning, estimation, project management, contract management, quality control & quality assurance on projects.

Mr Bansal has the first hand experience of Inland Waterways in Netherland, Germany, Belgium, Vietnam and Bangladesh. He attended many national and international Course on Inland Water Transport.
