Anand is the Managing Director & CEO of Agilus Diagnostics Ltd (a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd.), India’s leading diagnostic chain that is spread across 1000+ Cities, 30 States and Union Territories with a network of 420+ Laboratories and 4000+ customer touch points. He has over 25 years of robust work experience in the healthcare industry specialising in Diagnostics and Laboratory services in India, South Asia, Africa and Middle East.  

He comes with deep subject knowledge of diagnostics, combined with strong business acumen that enables him to identify business drivers, understand complex issues, take affirmative actions and drive results. He joined SRL from Apollo Hospitals Group where he was the CEO of their Diagnostic Business Unit of AHLL, based at Hyderabad. Anand is a proven healthcare leader with extensive experience in leading diagnostic companies, including Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, Neuberg Diagnostics, and others. Over the last two and half decades, he has grown strength to strength and has driven various portfolios covering Operations, Sales, Network, Channel development and management, Marketing, Strategic Business Development, national and international greenfield projects, mergers and acquisitions Hospital lab management contracts, PPP, P&L responsibilities, integration & change management and partner development. Anand is actively involved in various industry forums in India and abroad as a speaker. He is currently the Co-chair of the Norther Region Chapter of NATHEALTH and the Co-Chair of CII’s Delhi State Committee on Healthcare & Wellness. Mr. Anand won the Healthcare Leader of the Year Award at the Business World Healthcare Summit 2022 and also won the Healthcare CEO of the Year Award at the Economic Times Healthcare Excellence Awards 2022. More recently he won the Healthcare Leader of the Year Award at the Elets Healthcare Summit 2023, Dubai.
