With over three decades in the energy sector, I currently serve as the CEO of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (NTPCREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited. My focus is on guiding the organization towards a sustainable future through advancing renewable energy projects, including large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid initiatives, along with green hydrogen-based mobility and ESG efforts. 

My journey in the energy industry began at NTPC, where I spent nine years at Gas Power Stations in the technical domain. During this time, I was involved in the erection, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and overhauling of gas turbines. I then spent a decade in the Fuel Management division and the upstream oil and gas industry. Before assuming my current role, I contributed to various projects and corporate strategies at NTPC, including serving as the Head of Project at NTPC Korba. 

I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh  University, an M.Tech. in Power Generation Technology from IIT Delhi, and an MBA in Marketing Management. I am committed to aligning NTPCREL’s strategic direction with the aspirations of all stakeholders, driving the pursuit of a sustainable energy future.
