The council’s agenda encompasses a comprehensive approach through knowledge sharing, policy interventions and advocacy, and takes into account the challenges posed by widening economic and social disparities, rapid urbanization, climate change, environmental threats, and persistent health issues such as HIV, substance abuse, addiction, women’s health, including non-communicable and infectious diseases.
