Vijayanand is a working as Head of HSE and ESG at Hero Future Energies Private Limited. He has done a bachelor’s degree in Environment and Water Management from Magadh University. He has completed his Master’s in Environment Management from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He also holds PG Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He is having 17 years working experience in realms of HSE and ESG. He also has work experience on remote sensing, GIS & landscape modelling and worked with European Union funded project where he worked as project associate. Later on, he joined a consulting organization MITCON Consultancy and provided services to client related to HSE, Carbon credit/trading and sustainability over 3.5 years. His long tenure of close to 10 years with TUV SUD, was again associated with environmental services such as Environmental monitoring of air and water, Environmental and social impact assessment, Environmental due diligence, sustainability consulting and auditing, beside carbon credit related services. He led the environment business for over 9 years. After that he Joined a Oil & Gas company as head of HSE & Sustainability. Since 2019, he is working with Hero Future Energies Private Limited as head of HSE and ESG and is responsible of managing concerned matter for HFE across globe.
