Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, IAS, retired in 2021 as Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India. 

Of his 41 years of work experience, he has over 25 years experience in implementation and formulation of policies for growth and development of infrastructure projects through his various assignments in the Prime Minister’s Office, Adviser in IDFC and MD & CEO of DIMTS Ltd., Finance Secretary of Govt. of Delhi and in the Ministry of Power.  

Subsequent to his retirement, he has been appointed by the Government of India as the Director General of Power Foundation of India and Director of the Prime Ministers Museum and Library. 

He is a recipient of Governor’s Gold medal for outstanding public service in terrorism affected district in Arunachal Pradesh.
