Naveen Ahlawat is responsible for Green Steel, Green Hydrogen, and CCSU initiatives across Jindal Steel Limited. With over 13 years of experience in various fields, including manufacturing specialty chemicals and coal gasification projects, he has played a pivotal role in establishing the world’s first coal gasification-based DRI plant in Angul, Odisha. Naveen is also a member of the UN Council of Engineers for Energy Transition (CEET) and serves on the advisory board of ET Now’s Supply Chain Management Council. His expertise spans from process engineering to managing group procurement functions, ensuring the availability of materials during disruptions, such as the Covid-19 pandemic
